This page lists Georgia counties and county areas designated as rural by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for purposes of rural health grant eligibility.

While not included in this list of counties, the following Critical Access Hospitals are captured within the rural definition for this application and, as such, are eligible for AHEAD model-related funding and activities: 

• Monroe County Hospital
• Liberty Regional Medical Center
• Effingham Health System
